GET INVOLVED

Overview

There are so many ways you can get involved with  20 Stories High, whether you live in Liverpool or further away. We have a wide range of workshops, regular groups and digital discussions and we’d love to hear from you and collaborate with you!

We recruit all of our groups by asking young people to attend a skills workshop or through outreach workshops we deliver as part of our programme.

WHAT HAPPENS?

1: Youth Theatre

This is our original group for young people aged 14-21 who meet in Liverpool. We make plays that mash up dance, spoken word, music, song, street dance and even puppetry! If you are interested in any of these art forms and want to make challenging plays with a difference… email donna@20storieshigh.org.uk or call 07792 567 112.

2: Professional Development

We run occasional professional development programmes for early-career artists aged 18+. We also offer a newsletter called Creative Community. Through this we share creative opportunities in the region.

Our current professional development programme is Actor’s Training Programme.

Contact: Natasha@20storieshigh.org.uk to be added to our Creative Community.

3: Volunteers/ Placements

We are always seeking to help facilitate volunteer and placement opportunities. If you would like to work with us in this way, please e-mail natasha@20storieshigh.org.uk or call 0151 708 9728.

4: Education and Development

Culturepool

20 Stories High are part of the Liverpool Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP).
This was set up to increase opportunities for children and young people across our region to take part in quality art and cultural experiences. The LCEP has developed Culturepool.org where you can search for cultural education resources, activities and experiences for children and young people and find out more about the work of the LCEP.

5: Safeguarding

Safeguarding Charter for Liverpool Arts & Culture Organisations

We co-lead the Safeguarding Forum for organisations based in Merseyside with Schools Improvement Liverpool, who provide robust and up to date training on current safeguarding practices in schools. For more info, contact: leanne@20storieshigh.org.uk
