A Liverpool Culture Company Commission - SCHOOLS TOUR

A hard hitting new play with a pulsating grime soundtrack

The minutes are ticking away…

Tensions are running high….

There’s only one hour to go before the cells are opened…

Ashley, Nabs and Delroy are locked in. They can hear, but cannot see each other. It’s the end of Delroy’s long first night in the young offenders’ institution. Hard case, Nabs is counting down the minutes until he can beat up the new boy. And Ashley is teetering on the edge…

With young energetic performances and a pulsating Grime soundtrack, this hard-hitting yet entertaining play explores crime and punishment, bullying, isolation and the everyday pressures that young people face.

Following its hugely successful schools tour with the National Theatre, 20 Stories High are excited to be bringing this inspiring, authentic play from multi-award winning playwright Roy Willams, to young audiences in the North West.
