Biography

Keith is co-artistic director of 20 Stories High. His interest in Theatre started in the 1980’s when he was a member of the Everyman Youth Theatre, for ten years after that he worked mainly as an actor, but also a  theatre composer, for companies such as Birmingham Rep Cardboard Citizens, Contact, Leicester Haymarket Graeae and Theatre Royal Stratford East .Since establishing 20 Stories High with Co-Artistic Director Julia Samuels in 2006, he is gradually learning the craft of playwriting and directing with a keen passion for Hip-Hop Theatre and puppetry rooted in solid traditions of text and playwriting. .His play Ghost Boy won the Brian Way Award for the UKs best new play for young people in 2011, and he is currently writer on attachment at the Everyman Playhouse Liverpool.
