Exploring Racial Tension and Belonging in Multi-Cultural Britain

Babul and the Blue Bear is a fresh, anarchic and unique piece of theatre, bringing the worlds of hip-hop, mask, puppetry and street art together in a bold, dynamic and original way. The play explores the themes of cultural identity, divided loyalties, racial tension and a sense of belonging in a multi-cultural Britain.

20 Stories High is a dynamic new Liverpool based theatre company. Working with the narrative and musical influences of young people across the country.

20 Stories High capture the imaginations of their audiences with bold renderings of contemporary tales.

Babul and the Blue Bear has been specially commissioned by Liverpool Culture Company as part of the European City of Culture Celebrations 08.
