Summer Social

Our Summer Social is one of our favourite evenings of the year.

Every summer, we bring together young people, artists, freelancers, staff, trustees, supporters, funders and friends to celebrate everything we’ve achieved together. It’s a chance to catch up, make new connections, reflect on the year, rap, sing, dance, share art and simply enjoy spending time together.

Our community knows to expect good food, live performances, creative activities, music, speeches, games and plenty of conversation, all in a relaxed, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We work hard to make the event as accessible as possible, so everyone can join in and enjoy the celebration in a way that works for them. Whether you’ve been part of our community for years or you’re joining us for the first time, there’s a place for you.

We believe social spaces matter. They’re where friendships are formed, ideas are shared, collaborations begin and people feel part of something bigger. Taking time to celebrate, laugh and connect is just as important as the work we do. Our Summer Social is a chance to recognise the creativity, generosity and passion that make 20 Stories High what it is, and to thank everyone who helps make it possible.

2026’s Summer Social happened on the 12th August, we’ll be back in 2027 with our next!
