We’re inviting Trans+ people to help shape Fairy Fingers, a new verbatim performance piece that highlights gender stereotypes and celebrates the individuality, creativity and power of being trans.

Created by writer‑director Joey Colasante in partnership with 20 Stories High, Felix Mufti and the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres as part of the Transformations Commissioning Programme, Fairy Fingers will shed light on the broad spectrum that is the trans experience. This project is supported by Arts Council England. 

Each workshop will be led by Felix Mufti, Joey Colasante and captured by sound designer Daniel Mawson. Together, we’ll explore gender stereotypes, lived experience and identity, and record personal stories that will become part of a public performance.

Please note that sessions will involve audio recording for use in the final piece. If you’d like to contribute but prefer not to be recorded, get in touch so we can find a way for you to participate. 

You do not need to attend all three workshops.
