R.E. Trip To Be Screened At Pilot Light Festival

We’re thrilled to announce that I Told My Mum I Was Going on an R.E. Trip will have a life beyond television broadcast with our first festival screening at Pilot Light Season 3 taking place at HOME, Manchester from 3 – 6 May 2018.

Pilot Light is Manchester’s festival dedicated to celebrating the best in TV and Web Series from around the world and ‘R.E. Trip…’ will be shown amongst an exciting line up of old, new, cult-classic, cancelled-before-their-time TV shows as well as prime-time hit television show premieres.

I Told My Mum I Was Going on an R.E. Trip, which was broadcast on BBC 2 and BBC iPlayer as part of Performance Live in February received extensive press coverage and was seen by over a quarter of a million viewers – most definitely our biggest audience to date!

The 20 Stories High and Contact co-production tackles abortion head on through the voices of four young female performers portraying the voices of over 50 people who had been interviewed on the subject.

The original broadcast was received to critical acclaim with Elle UK describing it as ‘a must see’ and The Guardian, Telegraph, Times and Radio Times listing it as one of their pick of the weeks TV.

We can’t wait to see it on the big screen at Pilot Light!

Thank you to all those who have worked so hard, and continue to work hard, to help us take our work to so many people.

I Told My Mum I Was Going On An R.E. Trip is at HOME, Manchester on Saturday 5 May, 1:30pm with a post-show Q and A with Writer/Producer Julia Samuels, Producer Roxanne Moores and Director Lindy Heymann.
