Future Arts Council Funding Secured

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing funding from Arts Council England from 2018 to 2022. We have been in the Arts Council’s National Portfolio of funded arts organisations since 2012 and the decision to continue funding us, announced last week, will see our core funding from ACE rise by a fantastic 30%.

Arts Council England’s National Portfolio is made up of 831 regularly funded organisations, 183 of which have joined for the first time for the 2018-22 round of funding. The fund will see £1.6 billion invested in 844 projects over a four year period.

The near £50k a year uplift in funding will allow us to continue to develop our arts participation projects for young people in Liverpool and build on the work we do already.

Chair of our Board, Yvonne Hepburn-Foster said:

“Having the resources to continue making relevant work by and for young people is paramount to nurturing dynamic, diverse, well-rounded leaders, influencers and game-changers who will keep demonstrating brilliant young minds until it becomes the norm; expected even.”

We are delighted by this news and cannot wait to see the company grow in the next 4 years.

Congratulations go to all the other arts organisations who were successful, and a big welcome goes to the 183 new organisations who will be joining the National Portfolio in 2018.
