A big welcome to Yazmin Lacey-Phillips who is joining the team as Participation Associate for ‘I told my Mum I was going on an R.E. trip…’

Yazmin will be supporting our current Participation Department in delivering an exciting and engaging programme of events, workshops, post-show discussions and Arts Award workbooks for the national tour.

Yazmin studied Drama and Education Studies at DeMontfort University and has worked in the Education and Participation Department at Theatre Royal Stratford East as well as running a children’s charity – the CYF Project – in Nottingham for the past four years.

On joining the team she said:

“I first met Julia (20 Stories High Co-Artistic Director) aged 12 when I played a lollipop lady in ‘The Crossing’ – a youth theatre production at Theatre Royal Stratford East. It’s fantastic to now be working for her and the rest of the 20 Stories High team… with no hint of hi-vis in sight.”
