This January we kicked off the year with one of our Youth Theatre members Manoka Mbolokele on a week placement at 20 Stories High towers. Here’s what he had to say about his time with us…

I’ve really enjoyed my 20 Stories High work placement – it has exceeded all my expectations! I got an insight into marketing and did a social media take over on Instagram which helped bring more followers to the company’s social media pages. I also got chance to improve my administration skills using spread-sheets and other computer programmes. Just being in the office and watching the team has helped me learn more about the business side of the industry – something I’m really interested in.

As part of my placement I got to go backstage too. Getting the opportunity to go behind the scenes in the rehearsal room of the company’s next big show, The Broke ‘N’ Beat Collective was amazing! I just loved the puppetry! Also I went to a ‘meet and greet’ where I met big names in the industry.

Thank you 20 Stories High for having me… I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
